We start this page with "GEORGE K's" Vietnam Firebase Diorama. Here he has a line of Marines defending the perimeter against an unseen NVA presence. George built the diorama and outfitted his Marines with a variety of gear from different manufacturer's. Nice job buddy!

"PAUL L" displayed a variety of different subjects again this year, including this very nice custom hot rod, the Blues Brothers in a 50's type vignette and of course his collection of American Presidents.

"TIM L" once again gave us coverage in the Sci Fi/Game/Video Category. I honestly do not know who most of the characters Tim models are, but he always does a great job with his vignette displays and his customizing and painting. He has an incredible imagination and is really good at taking ordinary or different scaled items and turning them into 1/6th masterpieces.

"NANCY L" did this beautiful diorama featuring the Hasbro Wright Brothers, which is a great subject for any Ohio based 1/6th Show.

She also did this really nice vignette of Apple Creator Steve Jobs. This is one really nice figure that she has put together.

Well... everywhere that "DR. ZORKON" goes, there is always a party and this year's CON was no exception...
SO... this year DR. ZORKON followed up the wedding and wedding reception of Frankenstein and the Bride of Frankenstein with the happy couple leaving on their honeymoon. And it was quite a sendoff! Great diorama from the good Doctor with some amazing props and fabulous figures!

Next, we had "AMARAL" with this diorama featuring two  Russian Areosan vehicle with crews out on a frigid, windswept plain in Winter time Russia. These vehicles are a lot bigger than I thought they were and take up a lot of room. The simple white base that represents a layer of snow is pretty effective at creating that freezing cold look and Amaral's figures are outstanding as always. He even made real felt boots for a couple of them... just amazing!
