FIREBASE COOPER...Progress Report...

10/24/2010

Well, this was a busy weekend for me. I hope everyone has had a good one. I worked on a variety of things related to the Ft. Thomas show, like mounting the signs on cardboard, getting my presentation board painted and oh yeah, finishing the firebase. I filled a lot of sandbags this weekend. So, here's a teaser of what you will see in three weeks in my display...

Have yet to put any figures into the scene, hoping it will like a little more lively with soldiers, but man, does it feel good to have this thing done. My list for Ft. Thomas is getting shorted ant that is good. Well, until next time, have a good one!

That looks really good Pointman, once you get some figures in there it's going to look even better. I've been hard at work for the show also, but I don't think my table will be anywhere near the level of yours.

Yes...well, maybe, but then I am not having to drag my stuff all the way from "Canada" either. If I was coming as far as you are, my stuff would fit on a TV Tray. I'm just glad you are able to come. I can't wait to see what you put together. I hope you are bringing some cowboys and indians?

Nice work Point Man! The fire base looks fantastic! I can't wait to see what it looks like in the scene of your choosing for the show - I can only imagine that it will be great!

I really like the fourth photo down - I know with your Photoshop magic you could easily cut out the background and impose more firebase trench (etc.) or jungle - but even without it it's right at the level you'd want it to be for a 'real' 1:6th photo!

I didn't do too much over the weekend 1:6th wise - though on Friday I went through almost all of my 1:6th loose parts to organize everything as I had a hell of a time not finding anything when I kitbashed on Wednesday and Thursday.

The organization went by nationality of combatants and took off and on the better part of six to eight hours...

Needless to say I think I've got way too much stuff!

OK living in 'Canada' was a good one Point Man! I needed a laugh today and that fit the bill!

might as well be, I get Canadian TV and radio already. I'm still awaiting some parts in the mail, most have arrived. I really need to make a list of stuff I need to pack or I'm sure I'll arrive without something I "had" to have. If the trip goes anything like trying to book my hotel room it's going to be an interesting show

There couple of fascinating points in time in this article but I do not determine if these center to heart. There might be some validity but I'm going to take hold opinion until I take a appear at it further. Good write-up , thanks therefore we want a lot more! Combined with FeedBurner at exactly the same time
