Hey Troopers, Point Man here. This weekend is the 12th Annual SSCC FIGURECON, being held at Entertrainment Junction in Cincinnati, Ohio. Yes... it is Saturday night and will continue tomorrow (3/8) as well. I wasn't displaying this year due to some family issues, but I was able to get down there this morning and take some pictures and this is without a doubt the fastest I have ever gotten them posted. So... without further delay... let's get started...

We started with a Vietnam jungle diorama by Dean Engle. This thing is huge and has a ton of foliage. You really have to look to find all the troopers that are moving around through the landscape. Very cool Dean! A ton to discover throughout this dio.

Next we have Andrew Laschuk... all the way from Canada. Andrew was at the show last year, but I didn't get to meet him. This year he brought a selection of his fantastic Canadian vehicles and troops, including these trucks and Firefly. I believe that the Firefly is a bash, but the trucks are totally scratch built and are absolutely amazing. I managed to pick up one of Andrew's Bren Carriers at the show and I am totally jazzed. It is a fantastic piece and I can't wait to crew it and detail it. Lots of eye candy here... ENJOY!!

Next we have this Vietnam era PBR (Patrol Boat River) displayed by Barb Engle. This baby started as a DeSimmone offering, but as you can see, it has been highly modified to improve its appearance a thousand fold. This is one sharp looking piece that really captures the look of Riverine Warfare in Vietnam. There is plenty of eye candy here to take in as well, so I won't keep you from it... enjoy!!
